You can sign in to Groupthink on the web at [agendas.groupthink.com/signin](https://agendas.groupthink.com/signin). There is no separate password to create — you sign in with an identity provider or a one-time email link, and the same options create your account the first time you use them.

## Ways to sign in

- **Continue with Google** — sign in with your Google account. If you connect Google Calendar, Groupthink can see your meetings and their conferencing links.
- **Continue with Microsoft** — sign in with your Microsoft (work or personal) account, with the same calendar options as Google.
- **Continue with Apple** — sign in with your Apple ID. Choose this if you prefer to keep your email private or already use Apple sign-in elsewhere.
- **Sign in with email** — below the provider buttons (on the sign-up page it reads **Continue with email**). Enter your email address and we'll send you a one-time magic link. Click the link and you're signed in — no password required.

Your first sign-in with any of these creates your Groupthink account automatically.

## Which one should I use?

Any option works. If you want Groupthink to automatically join or privately record your scheduled meetings, sign in with the **Google** or **Microsoft** account that owns your calendar, and [connect your calendar](/docs/google_calendar) when prompted. If you just want to try Groupthink or record ad-hoc, any option — including **Apple** or **email** — is fine; you can connect a calendar later from Settings.

## Signing in on the desktop app

The desktop app uses the same sign-in. When you sign in from the app, you're sent to your default web browser to complete the process, then returned to the app. See the [Groupthink Desktop App](/docs/desktop) setup guide for the full walkthrough.
