During a meeting, you can add a note just by saying it out loud. Groupthink picks it up from the transcript and saves it in real time — handy when your hands are busy or you're screen-sharing.

## Add a note

Start with "Groupthink," then say your note:

- "Groupthink, add a note: we agreed to push the launch to Q3"
- "Groupthink, add a note to follow up with the vendor"
- "Groupthink, take a note: the budget is approved"

"Add a note" and "take a note" both work, with or without a colon. The text after the trigger is saved to the meeting's notes as you speak.

## How it works

- Begin the command with "Groupthink." It's detected automatically from the transcript — no wake word to set up and no button to press.
- Works whether Groupthink is in the meeting as a bot or you're capturing the meeting with the desktop note-taker.
- Only the note you dictate after the trigger is saved. Ordinary conversation isn't turned into notes.

## Frequently asked questions

**Do I have to say "Groupthink"?**
Yes, for now — start the command with "Groupthink" even if you've given your meeting bot a custom name. Triggering by a custom name is on our list.

**The note didn't show up. What happened?**
Check that you began with "Groupthink" and that the meeting is being recorded. Notes are saved as the transcript is processed, so give it a few seconds, then try again with a clear "Groupthink, add a note: …".

**Can I mute the agent or get a summary by voice?**
Not yet. Adding notes is the first voice command; more may follow.
