VI Auto-Replies in 1:1 Chats

Welcome new (and returning) users of VI and Groupthink! For those who may be seeing this email for the first time, we are the founders of Groupthink (formerly VI) and we send this daily email with our progress.
Groupthink is the place to chat with VI, a GPT-powered AI that reads the internet and connects to your email, browser history, and Slack history to provide personalized responses. Invite your friends and family, collaborate on projects, and make use of Groups and Threads to organize conversations.
This email is a bit light as we’ve been onboarding new engineers and working hard on some cool new Groupthink features!
What’s New
- You’ll start to see the Groupthink client load at app.groupthink.ai moving forward
- VI will now automatically respond to all of your messages when you’re 1:1, but will still need to be @-replied when you’re in a group
- We’ve added a link to email support at the top of the chat interface – it’s still support@meetvi.lol, and we’ll get that updated in the next couple of days
What’s Next
- We’re working on visual cues around new messages – similar to the way some chat apps will show a thread in bold when you have unread messages
