What’s Next

I (Jonathan) realized that the last several emails haven’t had the “what’s next” portion we were often including. Today I’m going to run through what we’re working on and what you’ll be seeing in the coming weeks.

Major Release: Improving Meetings

As mentioned, we’re working on functionality around meeting agendas in an attempt to improve meetings between groups of people. This includes several new features:

  • A shared “agenda”, which is a collaborative document next to your group chat
  • Email alerts and nudges from Groupthink before and after a meeting
  • Integrations with your calendar and other business tools

Improving Chat

  • Mentions – being able to @mention someone by their name or username across Groupthink
  • Renaming VI to Groupthink (yep @vi will keep working for all of you OG Groupthinkers)
  • Global notifications – see the right notifications on your desktop or… mobile device!

Mobile App

You want it, it’s coming (we’re actually using it internally!)

Integrations

  • We’re revamping the website reader to be way easier to use (automatic, in fact) and much more powerful
  • Slack and Gmail will return!
  • Google Calendar

Think something’s missing? Reply and tell us! We’d love to hear from you.

Startups are hard. Happy Thursday!
