For people who live in the terminal
Your relationship memory, in the tools your agents already use.
Groupthink is not another place to visit. It is context your agent can query. Connect it over MCP and ask what you know about anyone, prep for your next call, or log what just happened, without leaving the command line.
A meeting notetaker asks
What happened in this meeting?
The answer dies in the meeting file. You go find it again next time.
Groupthink asks
What do I know about this person now?
Every conversation compounds into a record your agent can query on command.
One quiet loop, from the CLI
Ask in plain language. It calls the right tool.
You never touch a tool name. Your agent reads the request, pulls from your record, and can write back the moment something changes, so the next brief already knows.
Quickstart
Connected in about a minute.
You need a Groupthink account and an MCP-compatible agent. Claude Code is the fastest path, one command and no extra dependencies.
Mint a token
Open Settings, API Tokens in the Groupthink app, click New token, and copy it. You will only see the value once, so save it somewhere safe.
Open API TokensConnect your agent
One command wires Groupthink into Claude Code for every project. Claude Code speaks remote MCP natively, so there is nothing else to install.
claude mcp add --transport http --scope user groupthink https://api.groupthink.com/v1/mcp-server \
--header "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_TOKEN"Using Claude Desktop or Cursor instead? The full setup for both is in the docs.
Ask it something real
Open a new session and ask about a person you are about to meet. Your agent picks the right Groupthink tool and answers with your actual record.

The whole record, in natural language.
Read your relationships, prep from your calendar, and write notes, threads, and dossier entries back. Same data as the app, reached from wherever you work.
Know the people you work with
- What do I know about sarah@acme.com?
- Who am I falling behind on?
- Find everyone I have talked to about pricing.
Walk in prepared, follow up after
- Who am I meeting at 2pm, and what should I know about them?
- What got covered in my call with sarah yesterday?
Write back without leaving the terminal
- Log this on sarah: we agreed to revisit pricing in Q3.
- Open a thread to send Sarah the SOW by Friday.
Have the bot join a live Zoom, Meet, or Teams call and speak or chat on your behalf too, when meeting tools are enabled. See the docs for the full catalog.
