X Posts on a Person's Page

Add someone's X handle and see their recent public posts on their page.

On this page

If someone you know posts on X, you can add their handle to their page in Groupthink. Their recent public posts then show on their page, next to everything else you know about them.

Where to find it

Open any person's page. Recent posts is the last section in the main column.

The section appears once the person has something on their page, such as a logged interaction or a goal. For someone with nothing on file yet, the page opens with a line like "Nothing on file for Ines yet." Click Show all sections below it to see Recent posts anyway.

Add someone's X handle

  1. In Recent posts, click Add X handle.
  2. Type their handle, such as @inesvargas. You can leave out the @ and Groupthink adds it.
  3. Click Save.

The section now says Tracking @inesvargas on X.

When posts show up

Groupthink checks for new posts twice a day, at 07:00 and 19:00 UTC. Right after you add a handle, the section says "No posts yet. The next scheduled poll will pick them up." The posts appear after the next check.

Each post shows the handle, how long ago it was posted, and the text. Hold the pointer over the time to see the exact date. Click View on X to open the post on X.

Change or remove the handle

  1. In Recent posts, click Edit next to Tracking @handle on X.
  2. To change it, type the new handle. To remove it, clear the box.
  3. Click Save.

Click Cancel to close the box without changing anything. Once the handle is removed, the section shows Add X handle again and stops showing their posts.
