Your Daily Overview on iPhone

The Overview tab is your day at a glance: the meetings on your calendar, who's in them, and what you know about those people. It's there to answer "who am I about to see, and what should I remember?" before you walk into the next thing.

Signing in

Overview is server-backed, so it needs sign-in. Tap Overview and sign in with Google or Microsoft. Once you're in, it pulls together today's schedule and the people on it. Without sign-in, the tab prompts you to connect — and recording and notes keep working on the device in the meantime. See Sync and signing in.

What you'll see

A greeting and today's date up top.
A short read on the day when there's something worth surfacing.
Your meetings, grouped so the ones with people worth prepping for come first, then the rest of the day. Each shows the title, time, attendees, and location.
All-day items like birthdays, out-of-office, and holidays folded into one compact line instead of cluttering your timeline.
A Join button on meetings that have a video link (Zoom, Meet, Teams).

Record straight from a meeting

Each meeting has a small Record button. Tapping it starts a recording already tagged with the people in that meeting, so you don't have to answer "who is this about?" afterward — it's filled in from the invite. Handy for a call you're about to take.

Keeping it current

Pull down to refresh, or use the refresh button, if your schedule changed and you want the latest.

Coming soon: Bringing in additional calendar accounts (a second Google calendar, or Outlook) is on the way. Today the Overview reflects the calendar on this device. You'll see those options in Settings marked "Coming soon."
